Kyperounta. Foto : Augusta Stylianou Kyperounta oder Kyperounda (Griechisch : Κυπερούντα ) ist eine Gemeinde im Limassol Bezirk, Zypern Das Dorf hat c. 1500 Einwohner. In der Umgebung werden c. ein drittel aller Äpfel und Birnen von Zypern produziert
Kyperounta ist c. 45 km im Norden von Limassol und 78 km von der Hauptstadt Nikosia entfernt. Das Bergdorf ist nach Prodromos und Chandria das höchstliegende von Zypern. Der Name Kyperounta ist wahrscheinlich abgeleitet von dem Namen der Pflanze Kyperos (Cyperus Rotunus).
