Οι Τριλοβίτες είναι εξαφανισμένα αρθρόποδα που σχηματίζουν την τάξη Trilobita. Εμφανίστηκαν στην αρχή της Κάμβριας περιόδου και ευδοκίμησαν στην κατώτερη Παλαιοζωική εποχή πριν να αρχίσουν να φθίνουν έως τέλικής εξαφάνισης, όταν κατά τη διάρκεια της ύστερης Δεβόνειας οι τριλοβίτες -εκτός του είδους Proetida, πιέστηκαν από περιβαλλοντικές αλλαγές. Ο τελευταίος από τους τριλοβίτες εξαφανίστηκε κατά το τέλος της Πέρμιας 250 εκατομμύρια χρόνια πριν (m.y.a.).
